Hi all,

Just found this site whilst trawling through as much esprit stuff as posible. I have a stevens 88 carb turbo in midnight blue which i have loved and mainly repaired for the best part of three years. The work really doesn't end but then what else have i got to do other than find new ways of swearing and injuring myself. Thought i better register as the girlfriend is tired of listening all about the car day and night. I think she's coming to terms with the fact that i love her but not as much as my esprit.

Even i have to concede he then needed a good unfriendly slap for

going on to design those Ghastly rover/MG bankrupter mobiles...

At least the Hideously chronic rover 200/MG loser mobile

is not quite as gut churning as the Morris Ital. Although who

'dessigna' the butt ugly Ital escapes me for the moment...

Giugiaro only was a consultant on the Ital, as it turns out BL used nearly none of his design, yet felt content to slap ITAL on their cars

Giugiaro's REAL unforgivability lies in anything he's designed since the Isuzu Piazza (tall body, pieces of sh!t like the Fiat Croma and Daewoos)

Oh yeah... How does Mr, Stevens explain this

Welcome to the forum. Just remember that without the Giugiaro cars, there wouldn't have been the Stevens cars but without the Stevens cars the car wouldn't have carried on selling so we're all wrong.
