Belgian Stig team-up excellent! That Beemer must be huge fun. Can we have a 'my other car is a Lotus' sticker on it please? ;)

I look forward to watching your race videos, but we still want to see a video of you two racing each other around Spa in your Exiges please!

I can get those made up for you (if you'd like a TLF logo on them too!) :D

Um.  I'd like one of those for the OH's Chelsea Tractor...

+1 for the video of the Exiges please!

Waky can post his fast lap, he did a really great drive ! I was on worn tyres, which is clear in my data....3 seconds between optimal en real time....

"OUR OTHER CARS ARE EXIGES"

we can do the Lotus part with the logo plus TLF logo.

How about one with 'MY OTHER CAR IS ALSO A LOTUS' I'll put it on the back of my Caterham race car! ;)

Great idea to open this topic here, for sure there will be some interest for the live stream. These races are really enjoyable because of the massive entry list. It's a bit like VLN, continuous overtaking of slower cars.

Thumbs up for the sticker :P

It was only a fast lap at Zolder, not as special as a fast lap at Spa or NS for an international public. Last session I took @PKT out for a ride, and he was really amused. In fact, he's the man to thank for getting me into this motorsport adventure. This will be my second season in BGDC, but with a much faster car this time.

Great stuff.

Has Patrick still got his V6 Cup? Say hi to him from me next time you see him. Our cars were delivered around the same time in 2013.

V6 Cup must have been a bit too quick for him then! ;)

Hopefully Lotus will come up with something to tempt him back one day, he knew a lot about the cars and the history.

Out of interest, what laptimes does the BMW run at Spa?

2.37

Here the vid of that lap last year, you will see it is the old (bad) quality, and in traffic.

Watch the last minute to see what Wacky said about traffic :)

Running in the engine, so nothing to see, just to show how it will look (check HD quality) in live stream. This was the test to check the software, worked without any bug.

Wow that's quick, the fastest Caterham time from last year's race at Spa was 2.38.7. He's a very experienced driver with a very quick car but we run on treaded tyres (Kumho Ecsta). I think my fastest lap all weekend was 2.43 but I had some issues and a lower power car. Still, on slicks under 2.40 would be easily possible. That's with zero downforce, 1960's Lotus design and 250bhp! Light is Right! ;)

Around 11 racing in our class. Total field was around 60 cars.

Very few incidents this 2 races, which is very atypical for BGDC races :-).

Next race will be at Zolder, sunday 17th this month.

This year we change to a 991 GT3 cup without any mods (no tc, no abs). But I have another partner.

Meanwhile we are considering an adventure where we would race a Lotus Cup R on slicks in 2019. But we have to test category (3.5 x1.7 give it nearly 5000cc class) and check which mods would be necessary (dry oil sump).....
