Looks like a nice project for someone, the 3k  offered will probably be from lotus eaters as he tends to offer that for everything. !  Hopefully someone on here will get this car to restore. :)

I have a suspicion that this is one I went to have a look at when I was getting my esprit, say 6 years ago. Interior was in bits. Bumper was in the interior!  Needed a total restoration. At the time, not for me and £3000 is probably tops. Rear tyres flat. For years by the look of it. Maybe that's why it seems to be propped up? What a difference someone could make though. ...

Have passed the info to a good friend of mine, this may be right up his street as he is looking for a new project, so hopefully it may well end up in his hands depend on what it goes for.:)

Hi Lars, my 85 s3 did have the indicator things at the bottom :) not sure if it was just a UK thing or not maybe ?

My 82 is from UK and my 84 is a US model.

Both have the indicator things at top of both side of the panels.

Could the instruments in this S3 be from a later car like your 85?

So. The ones with indicators at top must be solely Turbo Esprits?

Attached an image Turbo Esprit owners manual.

Well the owner of this car will be chuffed he did not take someones offer of 3k.

Just finshed and it went for  7400k   that is very strong money for a project and adds to the though that esprits finally are reaching the sort of money they deserve. :)

But on the flip side it will mean no more cheap restoration projects to be found and used parts will become more expensive, not sure what my friend bidded but pretty sure he would of not paid that much.
