Retrimmed seats are done!

Okay, well I figured I would post my leather retrim pictures here as I assume it would be moved anyway if I put it in the wrong place. Anyway, for those who've been following my interior retrim, here are the seats! Only took 2 months for the guy to get around and finish them.....But I think it was well worth the wait. He will retrim the center console in the same leather and I'll have him do the door insert panels in the same diagonal design, but he ran out of hide so he ordered more. Anyway here are the seats. What do you think?

Wow guys, thanks for the responses, I was hoping you guys felt the same way I did. I was quite apprehensive when I gave some general ideas of what I wanted and let him run with it. Very pleased...Both seats were $1500US. I'll have him do the console when he gets more hide.

I am quite pleased with the result, I hope the snow starts to melt here soon, now I need to get the car to the body shop for the paint work! I hope to get it in the shop by early next week!

A) what's the general weather trends for this time of year?

&

2) gonna need BBQ when I'm there and will only have time to get it on the way out of town as I'm heading to the airport...thoughts?

A) Cold and crappy is the general weather, it's been quite cold and we've had quite a bit of precip, ice and snow, but check out the weather a few days ahead, it could get warm for a couple of days. It does tat every once in a while.

2) Where are you going to be in KC? Are you going up to the plaza? If so, I'd hit Gates on Emanual Cleaver BLVD, call ahead or go to their website for a menu, here's the number:(816) 923-0900

I understand, but no sweat, the convention center is nice, actually right down the street from Town Center shopping center. Unfortunately it's not near Gates, but KC masterpiece is on Metcalf right down the street from Dick Clark's American Bandstand. Gates is much better but KC masterpiece isn't bad! Good Steaks.

We took Clive Chapman (yea, Colin's son) there...

I think he and William Taylor (the Lotus book publisher) thought the food was pretty fatty... I had to agree.

But Gates is an experience.

The seats and interior look great Artie! I need to do someof that too.

Yeah the food is a bit "rich" but it is by far the tastiest BBQ in town, I only get a chance to eat it every once in a while, but boy when I do!!!!

Thanks, I dropped the car off at the body shop last Friday for paint to the lights and front and rear bumpers, also there going to do some odd touch ups and crack/craze fixing while she's there, can't wait for warm weather, I'm going buggy stuck inside by the cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
