Just wanted to say hello. I'm new to the forum, I just bought by first esprit no too long ago. It's a 2000 model year, black. I'm in the midwest u.s., does anyone have any idea how many esprits are around here? The one that I bought is the first one I've seen that wasn't at a dealer.

Yeah, its nice not seeing yourself coming and going all the time (or at all for that matter). Also, what I've noticed is that everyone that sees this car in person thinks it looks way better than in pictures. This was not true for the NSX or 911 turbo ( the other cars I was looking at), which kinda look like what you expect them to from pictures.

I think to appreciate an Esprit's looks from a photo it needs to be next to a person to give it scale, or else it doesn't look like it's as low as it is.

I think it doesn't really a problem to know how many ESPRIT we have around because in fact at 98 % we are "lucky alone Esprit Driver" and the "one" is ours .

Hello from Finland and welcome to forum Paul.

I have no idea how many Esprits exists, I would just say it's rare. My car is the only one here in Finland that I've seen in live (here are 5 turbos, what I've heard).

Welcome to the forum, Paul. I don't see may Esprits here in California, so I would think they are rare in the Midwest. Florida and Texas seem to be more Esprit country from what I see in the "For sale" notices. So enjoy being the center of attention.
