Haha, I saw that the other day. As far as I can tell it is basically an Evora with stickers on and the current seller is not doing it for charitable purposes.

Possibly someone bought it hoping to speculate with it being a rare (?) car

Don't understand the 1 of 1 bit since there was a motorsports green LHD Naomi Edition for sale when i was looking last year, and that was priced very competitively against the "normal" cars at the time. Also IIRC it was unregistered.

Although i suppose green is different to white so there you go

I think that Naomi car was for Haiti, and this one was charity auctioned for Japan.

I think the dealer really, really likes it and wants to keep it but got told he must sell it, and that's why he's advertised it for that price!

Saw the car yesterday.   Either its been sold or the dealer is using it personally.  Cant believe anyone would pay anywhere near asking price for this though unless the first number 1 was a typo.

When I saw this car I thought the interior and sticker looked rubbish.  The car is also LHD so who in their right might would pay £150k for it.  I'm still convinced the 1 is a typo and its price is £50k.

Another thing that this car confirmed is how retro and soft the front of an S1 Evora is.  I honestly can't believe how anybody would prefer it over the 400.  I guess someone has to fancy the ugly fat girls in the world.

No I don't aim to get a rise out of any members.  Wouldn't waste my time doing this.  Was just stating my opinion.  Just like I despise the looks of the fugly S3 Exige.  Lotus just need new designers.  What happened to the guy who designed the Bahar Esprit?  Bring him back.
