Yes looks like he wants to see what people would pay and then guarantee a sale to the highest offer, then carry out the service and belt change for the new buyer, fairly good idea really as it is just the same as dealers do. :) Looks like a nice from the pics. pity we will never see how much it goes for as it will just say "best offer accepted"

Had to go check the garage as I thought someone had been off with my car for a moment. Same color and spec. Now if I could get that price for Peril, I would be well chuffed. Same mileage, only a one year of difference in the age, Peril is one year older, with almost the same history, although I think I have a bit more than this one as I have every MOT from the start and every service stamp, receipt and a list of whats been done by both previous owners. So what you recon its worth. I think maybe 10-12K tops.

I personally think people would be willing to hand over more than 10-12k,  The way things are looking at the moment with G shaped cars i could see people handing over 15k for a well used, factory standard car with recent a recent full service :)  But i always balance my theory of what restoration projects go for and if the recent one went on ebay for 7.5k needed full paint and what looked like a heavy restoration from the pictures, I am pretty sure that lifts the value expectations on decent cars. ?   Supply and demand, not many G cars for sale anywhere at the moment from projects to fully finished buy and drive cars. This itself IMO will also raise the prices when they come up maybe. :)

Wow Dan, didn't expect that one. 15K and I could even look at an Evora which I would like to have. without being prejudiced I think my car with her history is way above average and that's all down to previous owners taking good care of her. She is all original and in great nick.

Do not go ordering the Evora yet though John as this is just my theory, but with recent trends in the G cars prices i would not say that target of 15k is not far off from been correct. :) They are going up in price incredibly fast, will the bubble burst who knows. Price wise does not corcern me with my own cars as they will be with till they put the nails in my coffin lid, but with the recent increase in prices i will definatly be having my Insurance value ammended as to purchase another car now for the insurance replacement value is getting tight .:)

If your serious about an Evora i would put your car on the market and ask for offers, more so when someone else is advertising one for 40k at the same time as it make yours look like the bargain of the century. :)
