David Bache oversaw the design of those.

The ribbed lense design were first used by Mercedes Benz, they recconed the ribs broke up the airflow around the lense and kept it clean!

Ribbed and stepped lenses were all the rage in the late70s/to mid 80s :o

Is it me, or does that car look about a million times better than the rounded off

ferrari style late Esprit models? If the SD1's had not all rusted to bits then i'd be

well happy with on on my drive, AND my dad drove one when he was a copper!!!

I think those tailights look great :)

Except when you stick some half-ars*d wavy acrylic cr*p in them for some strange reason :o
