Spark plugs for more power

Hi all 

just changing the spark plugs as part of the full service. I have PUK chip and manual boost controller anyone have a by thoughts on different spark plugs when running more power/boost. Thanks

I can't find any info on anyone who has wandered away from the standard NGK BKR6EKC in performance applications. It would be interesting to find out what was used in the GT1 race cars.

My only thought is that you might want a slightly harder plug, say an NGK BKR7EKC. You could try that but it might affect cold starting?

I used the quite expensive Iridiums in my Esprit, noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever.

Thanks, appreciate the comment on the iridium plugs as I did consider them. New set of standard NGKs in and new cam belts fitted at Lotus and it's running smoother. Just need to sort he hot start problem now, based on the cloud of fuel it just through out I am thinking leaking injectors.
