Battery and tyre size

Does anybody know the correct battery number, the one I have has the terminals the wrong way round and does not fit the original clamp properly, I can just see the battery rolling around and crazing the new paint after bashing the side of the car if not clamped properly. Also what is the correct tyre size for the elite, on 195/65 14s at the moment but they all require replacing so might as well get the right size!

205/60 14 but options are limited personally I would rather have the right size rather than brand since I won't be testing the level of grip!

On my S2 the battery I use is a Yuasa Premium type 048. I'm pretty sure it fits the S1 as well; looking at the battery from the side with the terminals nearest to you, positive is on the right.

Yep - type 048.  I recently bought a Duracell DA45 - which is 048 size - for my '74 Elite.  I can recommend Tayna Batteries as well - always good to deal with.
