Exhaust mountings

Replaced my exhaust at the weekend, a lump of 17 year old rust. Took me about 10 hours in total, a majority of which was spent hacking through the 2 exhaust box mounting bolts trying not to damage the rubber mounts Is this some kind of record for the longest exhaust change

My original plan was to replace the rubber mounts having bought new ones at the sale, but they look like a nightmare to replace given the position of the 3 mounting bolts if they are seized. Anyone managed this. It would have made life a lot easier if they were easy to replace as I could have just cut through the rubber blocks to remove the old exhaust.

I remade mine using the original rubbers and stainless steel flat bar, Recognise :

Being stainless it dont rust and being totally adjustable you can set the height of the system in seconds.

Infact I reakon I could take my system off in under a minute and have it re-set in about that time as well.

It's more for the twin exit really where the symetry of the pipes is critical.
