Black Art Graphics
Hi Everyone, my name is Dan and I would like to introduce my company, Black Art Graphics! We produce 'Engineered Art', official licensed blueprint style technical illustrations of YOUR Lotus, laser engraved on 3mm thick double finished brushed and anodised aluminium plaques. Each piece is customised to your exact car! As standard every piece ordered direct though us has the owners name, number plates and VIN incorporated into the design at no extra cost. Frameless wall mounting! We believe these look best hung without a frame to accentuate the fact that it is a solid piece of aluminium and not just a fancy poster or canvas print! As such each comes with a wall mounting kit which attaches directly to the rear of the plate using our ready marked positions! The Perfect Petrolhead Gift Presented in a quality Lotus branded presentation box, these make the perfect petrolhead gift for the engineering minded Lotus enthusiast! The cost? Prices start at £149 + shipping for our A3 (420 x 297mm) designs, complete with owners name, number plates and VIN incorporated into the drawing. Coming soon we also have a larger format A2 (594 x 420mm) piece which will be priced at £299, and smaller A4 and A5 designs which come with a stand that slots into the wall mount to allow them to stand up on a desk. (I don't even own an Exige and I love having this on my desk!) Model Range? We're starting to roll out the full range of Lotus models, one by one as our artwork gets signed off from Lotus. Our current range consists of: · MY99 Elise 111S · MY06 Exige · MY06 Exige S · MY11 Exige S · MY11 Exige Cup 260 · MY11 Exige RGB Edition · MY12 Exige S V6 Coupe CComing soon: · MY16 3-Eleven · MY15 Elise Cup 220 · MY16 Elise Cup 250 · MY12 Exige S V6 Roadster · MY16 Exige Sport 350 · MY16 Exige S V6 Cup · MY16 Exige S V6 Cup R · MY15 Exige S V6 Club Racer · MY96 Elise · MY99 Elise Sport 135 · MY00 Elise Sport 160 · MY02 Elise 111S · MY04 Elise R / Federal · MY08 Elise SC · MY08 Evora · MY10 Evora S (Model Years are not fixed, just represent that particular model span. For example MY06 Exige would cover MY04 to MY07... etc) If We are more than happy to take requests for new models not currently in our line up, so please do let us know what models you'd love to see added and we'll do our best to get them done!www.blackartgraphics.com www.facebook.com/blackartgraphics Edited May 26, 2016 by Black Art Graphics
Black Art Graphics
Evora GTE Group Buy We have had a few requests for the Evora GTE, as you'll probably all be aware this is a very rare model with only 20 being produced, so with an extremely limited market we would pretty much need the majority of GTE owners to purchase one to make it worthwhile doing the photoshoot, creating the drawings and going through the approvals process with Lotus. Based on our previous products, all in the project is likely to take in the region of 50 hours! As such we are going to run a group buy specifically for the GTE model. These will of course be limited edition pieces numbered 1 to 20, available in A2 format only, priced at £279 and we'll need a minimum of 10 people on board. Once we've got 10 we'll arrange to shoot the photographs with one of the owners, put the artwork together and send it off to Lotus for approval. It will not be a quick turnaround, from the date of us taking the photos to achieving sign off is likely take a couple of months. I'll start a list here, if you're interested in getting a limited edition piece done or your Evora GTE let me know and I'll add you to the list! ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? 21gg
I will have one please, Gte no 2. I thought you and bibs borrowed my car for photos last year? Gav
Black Art Graphics
We did, however the technique I use has changed quite a bit since then which has improved the resulting artwork by some margin! We had only really just started using photographs at that point and although I had an idea of what I needed there wasn't a solid technique to get consistent results, whereas now there is. We can always do it at Brands in August of that's the most convenient time/place! Just went to edit the list but seems I can't edit posts after a certain timeframe? Al
possibly and not trying to steal the GTE boys thunder but do you have a system where you are recording interest in a particular model so when it becomes available you get back in touch with us? Gold FFM C8RKH Posted May 30, 2016 Gold FFM Report Share Posted May 30, 2016 Al - not off topic at all, look at the thread title, this is not GTE / Model specific, only the Group Buy is! I'd be interested in a 2010 NA Evora. Quote Alcohol. Sex. Tobacco. Drugs. Chocolate. Meh! NOTHING in this world is as addictive as an Evora +0. It's not for babies! I will be interested in a MY10 Evora S for example. Yes we've got some lists here in the office for interest in certain vehicles. As Lee has shown we did have the Evora signed off last year but the layout has since changed as the full technical specification was proving troublesome at the approvals stage. As such we need to review the Evora drawings, change the layout and resubmit to Lotus for approval. I'll do my best to get to this ASAP! stephenwhyte
Are we looking to do these for the early Turbo Esprit with large side decals and thick stripes? Also one for the S4s would be good.......for me anyway but I'm confident there will be others too.
