Aquamarine 'Sports Racer' look

Ever since I committed to buy my Evora, I was thinking what can I do to make it my own. I spotted this and love the sports racer look - https://www.thevehiclewrappingcentre.com/personal-portfolio/lotus-evora-gb-detailing/

I have the forged wheels, so it was hard to find photos of them in gloss black. However, after some searching I found this page and I borrowed the image to superimpose on my car.  http://www.prestigewheelcentre.co.uk/blog/2014/05/lotus-evora-alloy-wheel-refinished-to-high-gloss-black/

Below is the 'stock' image and the edited image. I've also attempted to mimic the sills (But my editing skills do not extend to the front lip, mirrors or roof).

Anyway, I have bitten the bullet and the car went into a workshop yesterday to have the wheel colour changed to gloss black... I pick the car up tomorrow afternoon and can't wait to see the result. Hopefully next week I'll have the wrap done. The only thing I'm not 100% sure on, is doing the roof black... hmmm.. Thoughts?

Not a fan of the wheels in black TBH... looks like large black holes where the wheels should be. Sorry!

I like black wheels on most cars and this is no exception. Love it. I would give it the full sports racer treatment having seen the pics in the first link.

I'm afraid I'm with @CocoPops and @LotusLeftLotusRight on this one - I prefer lighter coloured wheels. I wasn't really keen about black wheels on my own car but it seems fairly difficult to get them without and to be honest with the black pack it kinda works. Maybe it'll look miles better in the flesh!

See, looks like someone has stolen the wheels and left two black holes

I think those forged wheels are the ugliest wheels in the Evora range.   The standard wheels look better but the S wheels look the best.  However the black paint improves the wheels in that it hides its ugliness.   Definitely get the black wrap aswell.   The Evora looks like a 911 without it but a Ferrari with it.

The car also looks more purposeful and more aggressive with the black wheels.

Sometimes a change is as good as a rest, i think there's very little you can do to actually make one of these cars look bad (without being silly), i think it looks great before and after

I think this looks great. I was originally looking for a car with the black pack but ended up with a metallic racing green which I didn’t think it would work with, however a quick google turned up this demonstrator which is the same colour as mine ‘with’ the black pack.

I think the black pack does a good job of accentuating the lines of the car from a distance and when side on. How much did you pay if you don’t mind me asking?

Not a fan of black pack personally, but Spark obviously are. Christmas present from my son, only you’ll also need to get a set of forged wheels if you want it to match yours.

Blessed with the competence to be a slave to the incapable.

Currently without a Lotus, Evora 400 Hethel Edition in Racing Green with Red leather and 2010 Evora N/A in Laser Blue and 1983 Lotus Excel LC Narrow body in Ice Blue all sadly gone.

Wrapping a car here in NZ is fairly expensive. I recently had the roof and mirrors re-done due to the quality of the first job not being up to the standard. Also the black didn't quite match the black on the car. I've had this redone plus did stripes on the side like the 410..a bit tongue in cheek, but also added the 310 Sport 🙂 (Which it won't be far off, once few more mods are completed) and the 'shark fin' stone chip side graphic of the new GT430 in satin black. I also had the front area in front of the windscreen completed in matching gloss black. I also had the rear of the car where the lights and lotus lettering are, changed to satin black for the 'bandit mask' look. Finally I had the brakes changed in colour from black to yellow with black lotus. lettering. The whole job was around $2700 NZD approx 1400 pounds.

I have a WinAce GT4 Wing on the way to complete the latest changes...
