Insurance brokers - cheap cover but a hassle

Recommended Posts

After people's views really.

My experience of large companies like elephant and admiral has been brilliant when needed! Always repaired my cars quibble free and with no hassle or issue.

Last year I went with a broker and had a prang.... My god it was effort to get the car fixed with the ubder writing insurance company, from poor customer service to massive ncb penalty to their awful hourly labour rate I could use if using my own garage etc. Massive ball ache. Just got a very good quote through a broker but once again the ubder writing insurance company had an awful reputation.

As such I'll be taking a hit on the policy price with a bigger company as opposed to potentially dealing with paperwork and claim issues should the worst happen.

In IT/Telecoms it's fast, good, cheap.

The most oh can have from those three options is two, it cannot be all three.
