What sort of carburettors are fitted to the series 1?

Recommended Posts

Exactly what type of carburettors are fitted to the series 1? I know they are Dellortos but which model? I'm sure it tells me in the workshop manual but I don't have it to hand right now.

Thanks, Paul.

Any idea what the 'E' means?

Thanks, Paul.

I have no idea what the "E" means. I do know that there are other suffixes, and I also know that some parts may be different (for example, the top cover may have different channels drilled out). I think this is more important when it comes to ordering parts for the carburetors (use serial number, too?). . .
