If its not been done its worth making sure that what ever dealer you take it to has spare right and left hand oil coolers in stock as the fittings seize sometimes on the coolers B&C changed my offside cooler on mine during the 're call free of charge I might add ?

B&C didnot give me any paperwork when the job was done so I obviously kept the recall paperwork and they said doesant matter its all logged on a database with Lotus so would think any dealer would be able to check giving your Vin no etc

Get your nearest dealer to check the data base.

A Pic of the new style oil line connections to the oil cooler sandwich plate , if I remember it wasn't so much the unions coming loose as the crimps possibly failing the few dealers I spoke to have never seen a failure

Hmm, if he's had the car for a year or more how can he not know..

I got a zero cost invoice from the dealer when mine was done.

Its not a problem anyway if not done, still a free recall, just a bit of a faff having to have the front clam removed, but does give the opportunity to check the tow post whilst they are in there.
