What is this piece for?

Hi All,

in the boot there is the black bag for the roof panel if you take it out and store it, but in the bag is this piece of body? What is it for? Is it something I will never use and so should wrap it up and pop it in the loft?

I didn't get one with my car when I purchased it a year ago!! :crybaby:

Ran with the roof out for about 2 miles in the summer, then put it back in because of the wind and buffiting to the top of my head

they pop up on ebay quite a lot, keep your eyes peeled

Took me a while to figure out it was for on my car as well... You might as well wrap it in plastic and store it somewhere.

You won't be removing the roof in a hurry again after you've done it once. Tricky and heavy bit of glass to manouver (and expensive / impossible to replace) - assuming you have a glass sunroof.

With the deflector in place, the buffeting's not worth it anyway - does help, but not much @ +180km/h
