Congratulations! I'm sure you'll enjoy your retirement on your back from a foam mat on the drive :D

Do you keep travel privileges? You could be the world's first globetrotting Esprit specialist....

You're gonna need one of these for the engine hoist.:D

Best of luck to you, Sparky, in whatever endeavours the future holds.

Good luck Sparky.  I'm sure Richard Branson would employ a man of your talents :). If not there must be loads of  cambelts which need changing

Good luck mate! I assume your redundancy reduces with every month you stay on the scheme? After 32 years I would take what they offer and do something you really want to!

Cheers chaps!  Simply put, up to 6 months, my package is a year's salary. Thereafter it's 50%.  And yes Pete, if Tracy's job goes then there will be a house move.

Reckon I'll need a lot more hand cleaner.   :D

Blue latex gloves mate, that's the way to go. Good luck with life after BA. For me I'm delighted to report that life after HP has been significantly more enjoyable since I got out, I'm sure it will be the same for you what ever happens next.

You've done an UK Beltfest and a Scandinavian one, just take a look at the TLF member map there are a lot more Esprit cambelts out there that are bound to need changing, with proper planning you could circumnavigate the globe entirely funded by belt changes.

One other thing, do you think that engine hoist would fit in the container John is suggesting?

Well, it's worked for you these past 20 years.

I do like the idea of working my way around the world on cambelts.  :D
