gmendoza
Does anyone know if the factory Alpine component door speakers are hooked up to a crossover? If so, where is it? TEAM MAG
Does anyone know if the factory Alpine component door speakers are hooked up to a crossover? If so, where is it? Hello- I believe it is inline between the woofer and tweeter behind the door panel. Small capacitor type of crossover for the tweet. Hope this helps. Artie
Really? That's all there is? I wonder how good of a job that does. Thanks for the pic. looks like it's just an F-mod, a frequency modulator to prevent the lows blowing the tweeter out of the door! They actually work quite well and do the job without expensive adaptive crossovers which are more bulky and heavier. You could change the frequency range by getting different frequency mod's at a local stereo shop but I don't think theres a need.
