Underbonnet and other stickers and decals

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking about the warning stickers, chassis number, brake system, underbonnet E stickers etc, etc. Some of mine are looking a bit old, and wondered if there's a company making replacements?

I wouldn't imagine so.

Deroure says they're either obsolete, or 'factory order', and we all know what that that last one usually means. I suspect there will be someone able to reproduce the originals, but haven't found anyone as yet. This kind of thing will probably be of more importance to those amongst us who are fully restoring.

I did stumble across this site, but haven't followed it up, yet. http://www.channelcommercials.co.uk/signs-and-graphics/vehicle-graphics/classic-vehicle-decals/

Some of them can be bought on ebay(lubricant sticker on battery). E stickers and badges from S and J.

Beware of the external stickers such as ESRIT etc. Most of the graphics are wrong, the letter shape is different to the original!

Well yes, if they're spelling it "ESRIT", then I imagine even the most illiterate amongst us would probably notice.

A cheap shot, I admit. But one has to take one's pleasures where one can these days!
