MartynB
In anticipation of getting the Exige, I've been ringing around for insurance quotes. ClassicLine are currently winning. On the phone they said that they covered unlimited "owners club trackdays" and up to 6 non-club days. Does anyone know which club or clubs are covered by this? Club Lotus, LoT, something else? Stuart Monument
As long as it's a car club I think you are covered. The none car club track days have to be approved by a certain governing body. I think MSV subscribe to the body as do javelin so you should be good. I can't remember the day of the governing body tho

MartynB
Yeah, we've only ever done ATDO member trackdays, apart from Lotus 7 Club trackdays in the Caterham. I guess my question is which car clubs organise trackdays for Lotuses? Does LoT qualify as a club? Who else does?
Bibs
Yup, LoT is a club. You have to take out a membership before you do any of their trackdays. 1 Quote 88 Esprit NA, 89 Esprit Turbo SE, Evora, Evora S, Evora IPS, Evora S IPS, Evora S IPS SR, Evora 400, Elise S1, Elise S1 111s, Evora GT410 Sport Evora NA For forum issues, please contact the Moderators. LF1
As said above most are ATDO. And LoT requires membership before booking. Memebership is a small amount and their track days are less than most of the big organisers, and they run far less cars on track with no nonsense. 1 Quote Lotus Register - https://www.lotusregister.com
S1ARM
Hi matryn what short of prices where you quoted for the Exige with track day cover? ive currently got all my cars on a Hiscox policy and use Morris for the track day cover for now but with the amount of days I do it's a tad expensive....so I'm looking to move my Exige onto its own policy. MartynB
Can't remember exactly, but was between £500 and £600. I'll be getting them to quote for the Caterham when it comes up for renewal shortly. Only 48 hours notice required for trackdays, rather than the 7 days that REIS like to get, which makes last minute opportunities tricky. BatMobile
I have just gone with classic line - manning wanted over £1100 and LV (without track days) were coming in at £579. Classic were £641 (unlimited UK track days). Very happy with this and great to deal with, i spoke to a lady called Katie.
