How to remove front airdam

Recommended Posts

What's involved in removing the front airdam on an SE? My autobody guys insist that they have to remove all the cooling lines and it's a real mess. I thought the airdam/valence is seperate from radiator/oil cooler housings and can be removed very easily.

Thanks,

Chandra

On my 90 SE I did not have to remove any cooling lines or oil lines/radiators to remove my front bumper. However, it was by no means easy to remove. Lotus decided to put some bolts in very hard to reach places which make for an interesting time trying to get the bumper off. It is rather straight forward to do though.
