Mark030358 601
One more (irritating thing) is that when pulling off slowly from rest, the first bit of throttle pedal movement does not appear to do anything. Push the pedal further and all is fine. My V6 wasn,t like this. However, when just parked up and the throttle blipped I get an instant response. Wonder if its me and the V6S/380 differences? Anyone had this... cheers Mark

550superfast 447
He either wants a Cup 380 or just an excuse to make another 20 videos about choosing, speccing, buying, things he likes and hates etc....... PeterSweden 60
A Swedish magazine just tested the 380. 0-100 km/h 4,4 s 0-200 km/h 15,8 s German Sport Auto got 14,4 s from the V6
M4rk 160
He's put some mileage on his car in a short time, if he gets close to his asking price he will have done well I think. I still like the colour choice, nice Exige that. A GT430 would probably work well for him but I guess it will be a 380 Cup.

Not convinced it's his ad - doesn't read like he wote it and why would he post in Germany?

French Frie 401
I'm not sure it's known by many of us, but a lot of infos are recorded by the ECU, and can be obtained with the Lotus tool... including the best O-100 kph ! Mine is 4,1s ... a lot of useful infos are available, regarding highest temps, highest speeds, highest rpm when cold, etc... I was able to check this way that my (auto) gearbox temperature never exceeded 100°c, even with one trackday. I asked for an oil change anyway, as I do think it is the key to preserve gearboxes on a long term ...

Yes we get the print out at each service, however you still expect a journalist to at least be trying and pushing the car to its limits. However this certainly doesn't look the case in Sweden! geartox 597
which lotus tool ? yes after each service I got some info, mine should be around 4,1 also.
PeterSweden 60
I always get a print out of all history of revs and speed I dont care about 0-100 km/h but more important is 0-200. And 15,8 is actually slow, but it is faster than german Sport Auto.... My old M3 CSL did 0-200 in 16s. And that is 360 bhp and a lot kilos

Gold FFM C8RKH 6,418 Posted August 20, 2017 Gold FFM Report Share Posted August 20, 2017 Of a 311? Fair enough. Track data logged is pretty conclusive over basing it on "feel" which is not.
