Gold FFM Barrykearley Posted September 23, 2018 Gold FFM Report Share Posted September 23, 2018 👍👍 they looks the business. Tweaked the adjusters again on mine today - reckon I’ve got the ride feel on the rebound just right now 1 Quote Only here once

Gold FFM Steve V8 Posted November 11, 2018 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted November 11, 2018 A rare sight indeed...Sharon normally refuses to help in the garage, but today "Look" here she is putting the components onto the upper wishbone stud whist I push it through from the drivers footwell. I think she loved getting copper grease all over her hands...I might have to buy a tub for the bedside table😁 1
Gold FFM Popular Post Steve V8 Posted January 22, 2019 Author Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted January 22, 2019 Thankyou very very very much @mike_sekinger, these beauties arrived today and I just had to go try um out. The original V8 heatsheilds are often loose and rattling around or missing as mine were, the heat damage caused to the turbo feed can be clearly seen and this was probably a timely intervention. Mike also supplied a replacement engine loom and clutch slave bracket from V8s he's breaking to replace my existing damaged items.
Gold FFM Steve V8 Posted March 25, 2019 Author Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 25, 2019 At last a day in the tiny garage, thinking of changing my name to top plummer, oh bugger someone already did that... These are the Roose Motorsport silicon hoses from eBay, they may be expensive but you get what you pay for, the quality and fit is superb, the only issue being they have omitted the two stubby thermostat to radiator pipe hoses from the kit, this may just be an oversight, I'll give them a call tomorrow, apart from that highly recommended.
silverfrost
Silicone hoses are the bomb, they fit snug and will well outlast the factory rubber ones, well worth the extra coin imo 1 Quote A
Gold FFM Popular Post Steve V8 Posted May 27, 2019 Author Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted May 27, 2019 Last corner of Lola fitted, you may think I've been slacking but this corner had been left off purposely for easy access to the engine bay and underneath through the wheelarch. You may notice a bit of a theme going on... Just awaiting engine bay surrounds and trim now, then the fun can begin with mechanicals. 8

Gold FFM Sparky Posted May 28, 2019 Gold FFM Report Share Posted May 28, 2019 Hehe! No, I fitted (under duress, honest) a bunch of under-car lighting for Roger SE Owner - no longer an owner - but pretty much responsible for kicking off what is now Watford Exotics. Sort of. Anyway, sorry Steve for the hijack. But you do need lights and big mirrors for that... Quote British Fart to Florida, Nude to New York, Dunce to Denmark, Numpty to Newfoundland. Gold FFM Popular Post Steve V8 Posted May 28, 2019 Author Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted May 28, 2019 I've been there done that, got the t-shirt and all that. My daughters first car, black saxo with vivid pink flames down the sides and of course pink underglow, all dad's work. If I'd realised the effect a 17 year old girl with hot rod would have on the boys from Tesco car park I'd have given her a beige Metro.
Gold FFM Sparky Posted May 28, 2019 Gold FFM Report Share Posted May 28, 2019 Yup, my daughter had a seriously upgraded Skyline at 21. That caused some disruption. 2 Quote British Fart to Florida, Nude to New York, Dunce to Denmark, Numpty to Newfoundland. And Shitfaced Silly Sod to Sweden.
