Carpet has been given the treatment with the rug doctor - they clean up really well - @Steve V8 are these polypropylene? As it really did come up far better than I expected.

Yep, standard automotive polypropylene. Nothing special but they do wear and clean well.

Sun was out again today - perfect for leather spraying after many unsuccessful tries in the not scorching garage.

Glovebox is now on. Trim panel under the ventilation controls cut to size, fag lighter socket fitted into it, leather re glued and all back together.

I have to say - the cabin now looks really very nice indeed.

I will be truely sad to see her go - but ones gotta give to bring home an Evora

Gonna put a pair of racing stripes down the middle - that’ll hide it just fine

It’s had a quick polish this evening - still some left to do - but what a marked improvement.

The line down the middle is a reflection of a suspended air line and power cable going to the shed opposite before anyone asks !!

Is that bumper a different colour😍😈

I’m really not feeling the love of cars presently. The hate is settling in with the man flu.

thought I’d have a look at the boost guage this afternoon. Getting the dash apart was fun.

so the guage needle was sitting at 9 o’clock not at the just below zero point. It was under reading due to this .

stripped it apart - bending the rear lip carefully to gain entry into it. Yup - the needle was loose on the moving coil behind.

spot of superglue and reassemble. Finally something on an Esprit which doesn’t cost any money to fix 👍

now sat at the pool - still feeling rough - but with a tiny bit of love in me for the S4s which is sat outside awaiting thrapping home

Looks like she’s booked into a classic auction now.

I need to refit the dash cover after repairing the boost gauge and refit the front number plate which will definitely go on level.

I will be sad to see her go if she does
