550superfast 448
http://www.simplysportscars.com/shop/18-exhaust imagine it will be very loud, but good weight saving and priced well. Quote https://www.youtube.com/user/400superamerica

MartynB 244
I wonder if that's what they put on the IPS car they prepared for The Targa High Country. You know the really loud one
Rancid 104
Yup, very same exhaust Quote '....it makes every other roadster look just a little bit cissy...'
NANO 128
excuse me , I have tried to do translation, but I do not understand if there is the open / closed valve ?
Rancid 104
No valve on this one. Quote '....it makes every other roadster look just a little bit cissy...'

French Frie 401
here's the sound of this SSC exhaust :
NANO 128
Nice, very nice ... but for me without valve (open / closed) is a problem ... it's hard for the road-
The Pits 4,411
Does sound amazing in the Taz video and must be the lightest back box yet.
NW76 499
How do you get the flames? Is that ECU programming and injecting excessive gas when throttle is lifted? always wondered...
Fortis 31
Probably by getting rid of the cats or having a sports cat fitted instead.
Kristof Thys 197
indeed, no cats and this will happen
Arun_D 742
It also probably doesn't help that the O2 sensors are just flapping in the breeze!
NW76 499
Ok ... got it ... no cats ?
rasasoufe 5
Hmm... the layout of the SSC manifolds looks the same as the 2Bular ones... That looks promising for the people who allready have the 2Bular manifolds and are considering the TVS1900. I guess they will also get 450bhp instead of 420bhp? I have this exhaust on my car and confirm that it is LOUD, but in a very good way. It does drone a bit at 2000 rpm but thats not a problem for me as my engine never really sits at that rotational speed for very long....
French Frie 401
@Martin Duursma : do you still have OEM manifolds with this backbox ? two interesting pictures, showing the connecting pipe and the backbox in situ :
Martin Duursma 8
Yep, manifolds are still OEM. The only change is as you have shown in the photo. I was mainly going for he weight saving as the car is used for track work, but got the additional advantage of a much loader exhaust :-)
