It speaks volumes about the man and his creations (and their fans) that a chassis engineer would be so recognizable and so mourned. It'll be sad news to the Golden Gate Lotus Club on this Saturday. Most of us would have heard about it yesterday, but on Friday we had a track day at Laguna Seca.

 

Just the way he would have wanted it, you'd have to figure.

Very sad to hear this. I was very lucky to have sat next to him at dinner after attending a driving course at Hethel in 2007. Fascinating to listen to him. 

Sincere condolences to all his family. Thank you Roger and rest in peace.

Only heard of him through TLF, but enough to realize this is a great loss. My condolences to his family and friends.

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

I wonder if Lotus will do a special edtion Evora etc to mark the sad passing of this gifted man. Would be nice to see personally as a mark of respect.
