Happy New Year Gents. and here:- https://www.instagram.com/p/CKBcs2oF4Gk/?igshid=1drufhm4s6apv Whilst it might be full circle, this time there’s clout behind it. The EV revolution is upon us, this isn’t a bad pairing imho given the universal acclaim for a proper drivers car modern Alpine designers and engineers have created.

LotusLeftLotusRight 1,320
https://media.lotuscars.com/en/news-articles/the-start-of-a-new-manufacturing-era-for-lotus.html Does anyone know if the Lotus Lightweight Structures Wellingborough aluminium anodising plant is still open? Presumably they would be supplying Aluminium sections to Norwich? I understand that they do similar work for others like Aston Martin.

mdavies 76
Nothing actually new, but decent Telegraph article - PR anyway. Gives the statement as from Bibs above and ties in with a "last chance" email from B&C. PAR 278
OI am not really surprised. Considering his track record at Aston Martin, I was always wondering how he would get along with the no nonsense geely guys. I guess they managed to get as much out of each others as they could and it was logical for both parties to look at a better long term fit. LotusLeftLotusRight 1,320
Wasn’t Popham supposed to be luring in the Big Spender customers from his Sunseeker background, to help move the brand upmarket and shift the Evija? If so, strange that he’s gone before anything has actually been delivered to these clients.
NedaSay 849
How long has it been for Popham? 2 years and 4 months and change. Leads one to wonder what happened but best of luck to Matt. It is good to have an Us Lot at the helm. He is 49 years old so it would be nice if he could remain safely at the helm for a long stint.
Gold FFM Techyd 245 Posted January 28 Gold FFM Report Share Posted January 28 I agree, and with an engineering background from what I understand, he'll likely be keen to ensure engineering expertise remains prevalent to the Lotus ethos. Good luck and longevity to Matt 🙂
