Turbo oil leaks - Induction/Turbo/Manifold/Exhaust - The Lotus Forums Jump to content

Dear All,

Both turbos on my V8 are looking very oily on the underside (see image attached). The turbos boost well and don't seem to have any issues (I will check for play when I have the opportunity) just that they are caked in oil on the underside. I can only assume that the oil lines feeding the turbos, or the lines the oil exits from have a leak?

Advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

You need to clean them off when cold with some degreaser. It might be the oils feed lines - but might not. The oil returns to the sump do distort and oil weeps via the bolt heads. clean it all up
