Follow up on mine.... still doing ok and a fantastic car.....

Here's the 1st 380 Cup registered in Switzerland. And apparently the 2nd one manufactured........ so far I LOVE IT.....much improvement over the 360 Cup IMHO....

Very challenging indeed.. expecially on such roads!

Sounds great......and fantastic positioning for 3 F1 tracks:thumbup:

I love this shot incidentally! The grey, black & red bits work really well together. Always preferrred the red accents etc but most seem to have gone for yellow......great choice! B-)

Color was difficult decision. With such a beautiful car many colors look great. At the end the red accent works well, and also inside, where there is a bit of yellow from the belts. Perfect for me!

Looks awesome, really works in those colours, especially with the red detailing, welcome to the Club

Here it is: my new Lotus Exige Cup 380 - Metallic Grey!

I could not be more happier about it: the color is amazing, much better than what I thought or saw from other pictures.

Car drives beautifully: the handling, gearbox, everything just perfect! and the sound.. AMAZING!

Here some pictures from delivery and first weekend of driving at San Bernardino, in Switzerland.

I prefer the Lotus badge on the engine and the covers. Are you buying the parts from Lotus so you can replicate Olivier?

I also prefer the look with the painted and Lotus branded supercharger with covers.......and would also bring to your attention the now hideous white plastic windscreen washer bottle /filler......seen it in the flesh and it looks like a DIY job!  No doubt it’s an “add lightness” solution:blush:

isn't the windscreen reservoir under the front access panel on the other models?

Cup 380 model first to have it in the engine bay?

Also I wished Lotus had incremented the interior plaque, 1/60, 2/60, 3/60 etc.

All 380 Cups have 1/60 on.

Doesn't look right.

Certainly having "Lotus" on the supercharger would have been a nice touch. Also the black supercharger looks nice. None of these you can retrofit (I see some screws on the logo pannel but no holes in my supercharger - and painting it would be a lot of work).

The plastic covers around I am happy to not have. I like the engine to be "open".

On the numeration I fully agree.. that's a mistake Lotus did.. also we know it is not 1/60 but 1/80...

Happy to sell my plastic covers if anybody wants them... I'll be selling for an over inflated price but guarantee I'll ship to you in days vs months and still at a lower price than Lotus direct ;)

Has anyone not seen the 'Olive' 380 Cup at Howard's Lotus? Now that is an interesting car!

So, Titanium Exhaust, airbarg delete and they don't put the fire extinguisher and engine cut off?? Weird configuration..

The inside in that color does not work imho... especially with the red contrast..

The grey one is lovely. Nice choice (and I don't normally favour grey) but it works on the Cup.

That olive one is truly awful. They should have refused to leave it in that colour.

I was also in doubt with the grey initially.. and also I am not a big fan of grey or silver cars. But this grey is really sportive and on the Cup works perfectly! When I saw it on my car first time I was speechless for 10 minutes.. above all my expectations!

Live is better than photo, but this is true for most of the colors..

Could probably live with the outside......but I think I’d polish through the paint work trying to get a shine out of that colour......loooks properly dull. The interior accents just don’t work

By the way: I made a first small video driving the car. Photos are from San Bernardino, while recorded driving is from another area where the car had already 800 km. Audio from GoPro 4 - not the best but quite OK I would say.

I need to improve gearbox use: this short ratios are cool, but at same time they require a bit of experience, especially first 2 gears. I got the impression I should never go below 1800 rmps with a gear to have smooth gas.

Great video, awesome roads, just like driving through Central Bedfordshire :)

Frustrating staying under 4000 Revs isn't it?

Don't tell me!!! Now I am at 1100 km... freedom is only 400 km far away - then I can go for the first service! :D

Indeed!! When I am not driving, I almost live full-time in my garage. My girlfriend does not complain too much, so far..

I see you are also from Switzerland - Ticino?
