A few weeks ago Russ Smith from Classic Cars posted on here looking for a pre 92 Esprit to feature in the Reader's Dream Car item for the July issue . I was one of the people who replied to Russ' request for help, and he ended up using my car for the article.

I've just received an advance copy of the magazine. The 6 page article is really very entertaining, the reader has a great back story as to why he wanted to drive an Esprit, the car looks great and the Esprit comes over really well. Lots of really great comments on the way it looks, drives and handles, and as you'd expect the odd observation on the various quirks and features we are all familiar with.

I spent the day with them as they did the photo shoot around Frensham Ponds and the B  roads between there and Odiham. Really interesting to watch how they did the tracking shots, with the photographer strapped in a harness hanging out the back of his 5 series estate. Very enjoyable, even though someone else was driving my car.

Watch out for the magazine in the newsagents, the front cover features Steve Coogan and his E Type, one or two of you might enjoy the read!

I actually picked this up whilst sitting in a hospital waiting room yesterday. Great article - your car looks ace Colin. I did spot that Steve Coogan also appears to have a mint Yellow S1 tucked away in his ' stable' as well

Just stumbled upon this now. Does anyone have the rest of the feature by any chance? I've been hooked by that scan above and I'm Jonesing big time. Congrats Colin, car looks fantastic. Looks like it is a feature to be proud of.
