Any idea what might be causing this?

Recommended Posts

Just got my car back from the garage to have a scratch reprayed,  and I noticed that bottom of the rear bumper is kinked n right next to the diffuser, just where the mounting  bracket is.

I never noticed it before (but that doesn't necessarily mean anything other than I am very unobservant)

There is no paintwork damage at all and there are no marks on the diffuser either so I'm positive I haven't reversed into anything.

Any ideas what might be causing this,  could the mounting bracket be bent or rusted through or something?

Hah, weird, never noticed this before!

I guess it just caught my attention as it's much more pronounced on the left side than the right.

Thanks for the reply, feel really stupid now...
