Bravo73 1,339
You’ll need to contact him directly but the price will depend on whether you want it in fibreglass or carbon fibre. Otherwise, you can go via his European agent, @YvoTuk of elise-shop.com.

Xisthos 104
I am seriously considering getting this kit as well now. Is this kind of power safe for both the engine and the gearbox particularly if you plan on keeping the car for several years to come and regularly tracking it maybe at least 4-5x per year? I don't have personal experience but the kit has been available for a while and I'd say is well tested solution. The clutch seems to struggle when you get over 430bhp but most seem to wait for the clutch to go before upgrading to the Evora 400 unit. I doubt it will be too long until I make the upgrade 3 Quote www.alias23.com

Do you think the 380 engine might be fragile? Or have you been told it is because of it's lowered rpm max? Not sure many SSC TVS1900 kits have been dyno'd. Mine has and I have posted on here. tim_marra 478
So to save all the searching etc, Headline figures are 407bhp and 487NM torque. SSC are keen to say that figures are not what the upgrade is all about. They prefer to talk of real world performance
JG220 273
That’s usually code for ‘we can’t make the same power as others’. Given that we are all in the real world and have eatablished a mechanism for measuring power (in the real world). Edited March 4, 2018 by JG220

Gold FFM BatMobile 524 Posted March 4, 2018 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 4, 2018 What was the outcome @550superfast as tvs1900 is on my radar at the moment
550superfast 447
Pretty close in the real world on track, but I'd say the EX460 cars are usually a bit quicker. @Win911 goes past me on the Kemmel straight, he is running close ratio 5th and 6th as well I think? And says my line in Eau Rouge could be a better. Snetterton on the Bentley straight Duncan and I had a few runs, it was really very close in a straight line. After driving both the ex460 really goes from 6000rpm to the redline, whereas the TVS1900 is all done earlier and you are better of changing gear and using the torque. I've put a few vids up on You Tube of both. Trouble with a rolling road is it is just a number, and not sure it can be relied on unless you had both cars there on the same day, with the same settings and an impartial person running the cars and road, whereas a lap time is actual. After my upgrade to TVS1900 I was 6 secs faster at Spa. In short, both seem like great upgrades. Quote https://www.youtube.com/user/400superamerica

Totally agree on the torque and change gear earlier, Exactly like my car, however it does pull past 6000rpm to revlimter much much better than it did pre conversion.... 550superfast 447
Yes, TVS1900 will run all the way to limiter, and is still pulling hard. The EX460 just seems to have a fizz after 6000 which makes you want to hang on - or perhaps does not have the low down NM to rely on. Mark030358 601
So will the 380 Sport and Cup models rev past 6800 without destruction, that is a key question....?

tim_marra 478
Well for me the decision is a no brainer. TVS1900 all the way Mine is for an Evora, which I hope/expect to be available any day now. Can't wait.
