Looking at an Esprit FE

In taking a look at an Esprit. An 04 final edition model with about 5400 miles. What kinds of questions should I ask? What is the first maintenance schedule look like? What is it called and any way to verify it was done? its a u.s. car.

Any other questions besides carfax, accident or respray questions which i asked already. Thanks.

Hello Tom,

I would start by looking at the Lotus Esprit World Buying guide. This will give you a good idea of what to look for.

Where is the car? Perhaps yo could get someone off the forum either to look at it with you or recommend someone in the area who could give you an inspection report (for a fee). I would not buy the car without an inspection by someone who knows the cars well.
