Bol****S! Just been on to mytyres and the Fuldas are out of stock again.

In desperation anyone know of any of the Fuldas in 205/70/14 anywhere else?

Are these what you want, they might have them in stock, its listed as available

Although they've taken my order, I'm waiting until they arrive. mytyres actually have them on the website and let me pay for them, however when I called them to check details said out of stock. End result is that I have actually "bought" 2 pairs of rears, as to how many actually arrive, I wait with baited breath!

As soon as I see some or hear otherwise I'll update.

Regards

Mat

Glad I ordered 2 pairs!!

Mat if you're stuck, your welcome to my spare pair until new stock arrives!

They made a huge difference to the grip after those diabolical Falkens although I really need a decent set on the front still.

So it was the Falkens then, Pete?

We had a tyre/vehicle discussion on another board I frequent some weeks ago. It is certainly the case that whilst one tyre may well be a perfect match for a given vehicle, put it on another and it's complete rubbish. This was largely anecdotal but the subject cropped up again at recent performance driver training day we attended at Alconbury. One of our members is an automotive engineer and he confirmed rigorous testing has proven this time and time again.

Oddly enough the entire discussion had started when one of our members commented that he'd switched from Toyos over to Falken ZE512s and couldn't believe just how favourably they compared.

Horses for courses and all that...

I posted the problem on the Falken website and got a phone call from their technical department which I was pleasantly suprised by. Not often you actually get to speak to someone these days! The guy was very helpful and explained that the tyres are comfort/sports tyres and therefor not capable of immense levels of grip. He even offered to log a fault with the tyres so that I could get my money back - now that

Pete

I'm jealous of you blizing Europe in your car! That's a very kind offer and I may take you up on it. I'm waiting to see when my tyres arrive, hopefully Mon next week. Ive just managed to locate a spare set of rear wheels which I pick up early Sep. Plan is to get these refurbed, put on new tyres, then swap them onto my car. Better than pi**ing about with axle stands. Once I've got the rears sorted it's on to the fronts.
