New Esprit vids

Ian lent me a vhs tape with some car things on it, namely a few Esprit articles which I digitised.

Here are the 1st two on the S4 and the S300 racer !

One thing I did notice with other reviews Clarkson has done on the car is the stark contradictions which kinda makes me think, more proof of that later with the V8 article.

The article on the S300 is golden, Tiff is ragging an XJ220 and a S300 around silverstone then jumps in their Le Mans counterparts.

The S300 is the car I am building atm, I've got 100's of stills but no moving pictures until now !

Great stuff, thanks to Ian (mayesprit) for digging it out. I think there is an unseen V8 one to follow.

Excellent vids! Shame Clarkson had to rattle on about reliablity (yawn), but the S2 looks great.

God they bring back memories......

A mate of mine thought that astramax van bit was true and ribbed me for ages that the Esprit was slower than his works van... Didnt even bother retalliating...!!!!

Those are great little vids. Clarkson being posh and considered was funny. He is much better now. I would like mine to look like the GT esprit, it was sweet.

Hmmm, I got a footage from a German TV show about the S2 JPS and in one brief scene you could spot a very familiar looking red TurboEsprit that has been converted to an S4s engine recently....

Not very good tbh, I do like the fact he says the driving position is good and then in the 2002 review he slates it

TVR Cerbera ? hmmmm, OK.

As he says it still looks fresh - the S4 video is 1993, this V8 is 1996 - I still think it is one of the best looking cars ever made.

Notice how much in 3 years Clarkson has changed - lol, he's dropped all his over pronounced T's and gained his 'pause before the last bit' trade mark.
