A well-sealed system should hold better than that.  This one shows a drop from 20 to 18ins after 48 hours.

I'm in the South West.

Oh. Wait. That's in Victoria, Australia.

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

That is very tidy - the owner is in for a treat.

You said it - I can confirm the owner is absolutely delighted with his new brakes!

Thanks to Ian for putting together a really professional kit and to both Ian and Gary for a very tidy installation.

I've already put around 300 miles on the car since collecting it on Sunday and lovin it.

You have breathed new life into the old(ish) timer... only wish I had found this thread and converted earlier.

Thanks again!

A pleasure, Jim.  She's a beauty and deserves to get out more; hopefully that will be the case from now on!

Nice to have another GT3 on the drive, this one belonging to @Chris Onelevenr.  A very pretty car in Nautilus Blue.  The old system is out, all vacuum work done at the engine, and pump is mounted.  Lotus position (seat insitu) achieved yet again without lasting damage (a miracle at my age), and brake pedal drilled appropriately.  Again, @Chillidoggy will be attending this week to help me install, test and adjust the important stuff, followed by a night  of celebration and all-round back-slapping at a local CAMRA hostelry.

@Chris Onelevenr I am glad you bit the bullet and got  @Chillidoggy conversion done. @Sparky was the man for the job.......enjoy. I feel its the best bang for your buck that you can spend on the Esprit and completely changes the car. Its still puts a big smile on my face every time I take my S4 out for a spin.

p.s love the colour of your GT3

Small non-related point. I've seen a couple of cars with the plastic cover cracked where the bonnet strut attaches to that cover. Flipping the ball joint 180degs so the load is more in line with the stronger side of the cover is something I do as a matter of course.
