lotusforsale.com
The V8 is the ultimate Esprit, I have owned 5 Esprits and always yearned for the V8, the 4 cylinder models are good, but nothing compared to the glory of that V8 rumbling away in the back, if your after an Esprit then try to get a V8 to start with, you will save a fortune in the long run.. Sub 50K V8’s are becoming a very rare car indeed and prices are starting to rocket for the few cars that are out there, just look at the few on sale currently. I searched for over a year to find this car and it had 39K on it when I bought it over 4 years ago, I have spent a small fortune on sensible reversible modifications and this car is fully sorted with all the expensive jobs completed, I am not desperate to sell and if I am to part with it then I am expecting to receive the asking price, or very close to, so please don’t waste any time with silly offers or PX, also no test pilots please, unless you have proof of fully comp insurance or a big bag of cash with you. So, over the last 4 years I have had the following work completed: Just had complete new twin plate clutch fitted with new master and slave cylinders and braided hose, all from PNM. Also had the gearbox oil changed and engine oil and filter for Mobil 1, I change the oil every year despite only running a couple of hundred miles. PUK ECU rebuild, giving increased boost and approx 400 BHP but also giving more security around engine cooling protocols and eliminating flat spots on the original software, the engine runs much smoother with more low down grunt, massive improvement over the standard code PNM 2004 central exhaust kit and grill, currently running decat pipes with small silencing, sounds awesome compared to standard exhaust, still have cats which are fitted at MOT time.. PNM big brake conversion to Brembo calipers, with drilled and grooved bell and rotors, look really great behind the rims and stop much better than the originals. Original alloys reconditioned a year ago with brand new Pilot Sport tyres, running 295 section rears. Fully adjustable shocks and springs on all corners about 1000 miles ago, supplied from SJ Sportscars Replaced the gear selector joints, could go on forever.. Pictures show the condition, interior is completely standard and everything works, except Air Con, never worked when I bought it and I really don’t care, only drive this car with both windows down and the sunroof either tilted or out completely, probably just needs regassing. Service book up to date when I bought it and I have receipts for all the work I have had done, all previous MOT’s and bill for thousands from previous owners. I also have the Lotus factory software and USB connection to laptop for self diagnostics. Please only contact me if you are a serious buyer, it’s a great car that deserves to be seen, not sat in my garage not getting used, and finally on that subject, people who tell you these cars don’t like sitting around are wrong, maybe if you have an unsorted car to start with but I can leave this car sat for a month and it always starts first time and drives with absolutely no issues. Private plate included, just MOTD in June, no issues. Shaun 07764205478 or [email protected] The post Lotus Esprit V8, low miles and excelent condition appeared first on lotusforsale.com.
