sieger 4
Hi folks, Got a couple of small paint chips that I'd like to fill in. Is there "official" Lotus touch up paint available for "Signature Orange"? I had a quick search, but didn't come up with much. Thanks!
Bibs 11,101
What's the paint code on your VIN label mate? If you can't find that, pop me your VIN via PM so we can look up the colour. sieger 4
Hi Bibs, Code is C182 I've found paint for chrome orange, and the metallic orange for Evora, but don't think they're the same. I have an Exige V6 CR btw. Cheers!
Bibs 11,101
Lotus don't do a touch up pen in that colour I'm afraid. Best option would be to get a paint shop to match it, they do a pretty good job nowadays. 21gg 399
Whenever I've asked about touch up paint on my last three loti they've never had any, a supply issue I presume. Any paint shop or even Halford will mix some for you.
sieger 4
Thanks for the replies. Yes, I guess a fresh sample from a paint shop would be best!

My car's color I think is midnight blue, i'm looking at my vin in front of me and i'm assuming its either C7 or D2? Is one of these my color?

It's not in the VIN, but on the VIN label on the car is another short code for the colour, for example mentioned above C182 ("Exige Orange"). r3nault 14
Hi all - thread dig. Where can I find the paint code? I know this is probably a n00b question, but there are a lot of codes on that chassis label under the rear seat... which one am I looking for? My owner's handbook has the car listed as carbon grey, in case anyone knows that off the top of their head. Also, anyone know where to order touch up paint (spray can type) in Australia? r3nault 14
Never mind about finding the code, managed to get it... but any tips on where to buy paint in Oz are appreciated!
