I thought the 'Cars of the Stars' museum up in Keswick had it now though? I know they were restoring one of the subs from the film because they were interested in buying mine to help with the restoration. They also own the road car PPW306R but does anybody know the reg of the second car out in sardinia which was used to film from? It had the tailgate removed and the cameramen sat in the back. It might have been owned by Colin Chapman at one point because in the documentary on The Spy Who Loved Me they talk about borrowing Chapman's car and there is a still of both cars taken during filming. I believe that the Cars of the Stars tried to buy the second car but the owner quite rightly didn't want to sell - is the owner a member of this board?
