Ali tuck
I need that too- I have the button but it’s got no exhaust decal on it😕
exeterjeep
Someone had suggested that they might send me one, but many months ago. So bought the entire switch panel from Lotus Exeter about a week ago, (£303) and switched the cap cover. So have a number of spare plastic caps! I bought the standard part that is for the GT410/GT410 sport which is the least expensive. Did not want to quote my chassis number etc as they might have sent me the wrong (more expensive) part. Its not a decal either is is sort of translucent piece of plastic, so it starts white and goes red when selected - like the sport button.

Gold FFM Sizona Posted September 14, 2022 Gold FFM Report Share Posted September 14, 2022 It's a lot more than I originally sold it for! 🥵 Fabulous car
exeterjeep
The military grey auto has gone off AT and PH, may now be sold? But was at Hofmann's, who are even less Lotus than they were, so may have gone somewhere else?
jep
Marked as 'sold' on Pistonheads.
exeterjeep
From FB, a pic of the GT430 auto LHD at SWLC open day. They were removing the engine bay loom to send it back to the factory.

jep
Not enough, clearly. Collecting Cars a terrible place to sell....prices generally soft with a few exceptions, too few exceptions to justify the risk. Justin

jimichanga
Must have been the lowest mileage one left so prob had a very high reserve on it.
Xynagy
There are some GT430 for sale in Europe with even less km.
jimichanga
Buying a Lotus and not driving it is one of the most pointless things a person can do. Won’t do the car any good to sit in a garage for 5 years either. Really a well maintained, correctly run-in and driven example should be worth more.
Bruss
Buying a Lotus is of itself the most pointless thing anyone can do - as for any other non utilitarian vehicle. You want something useful? Analyse your needs and buy a cheap runaround for the shopping/commute and hire a comfort wagon for holidays. Meanwhile I'll buy as many pointless cars as I like and store them in the barn just in case we get a sunny day and I fancy a drive out. (Mind you I may just sell something to pay the leccie bill this winter.) 😃
LotusLeftLotusRight
The Market has always dictated that very low mileage cars are worth rather more than those driven regularly. By the way, very low mileage doesn’t necessarily mean neglect and deterioration. You can still have a fun car, use it on and off all year round and get it serviced annually, without putting on thousands of miles each year.
Popular Post jep
Every time I drive a Lotus, I wonder why I ever bother driving anything else. Justin
Gold FFM C8RKH Posted October 28, 2022 Gold FFM Report Share Posted October 28, 2022 Probably the only thing to really rival it for driving pleasure is a Caterham or a McLaren.
