Elise Seats

I am looking to install a set of newer Elise seats (black) into my Esprit. Dose anyone know where I can get some used? I priced them out from Lotus and they want $2200 per seat!!!!!!!!!!

To bad your not on my side of the pond, I'm changing out the 05 Elise seats I have for Probax seats from the trim shop. The cost of shipping would probably be prohibitive..........

Why not have a leather or upholstry shop retrim your seats? Had mine done very reasonably for $1500US. Redone in all new leather stitched in silver padded diamond seating surfaces.

I would do that but I honestly hate the old seats I think they are terribly dated. Besides, I had the dash totally custom done along with all new trim as well as the entire interior including nice custom touches here and there. It will look rather nice when it is all finished! The stock seats would ruin the whole thing! Personally I like the late model Elise seats they are more aggressive and stylish then the Esprit ones, even the later V8 seats.

You are entitled dude! It's your car, I looked into some Sparco's Milano's in leather for mine but the floor pan and space is so limited it made sense to me to just re trim the seats in a more modern looking motif! I'll keep my eyes peeled for some Elise seats. You may look in Grassrootsmotorsports magazine too, there are lots' of people with elise's who auto X and change out parts etc.

Sparco roadsters look like they might fit too. I don't have a black interior though so I'm screwed. Mine is like mushroom or something (I think it's pretty rare, only seen one other Esprit with it).

I considered these too Travis, but they were going to require some fabrication of sliders etc. I was actually going to get the Fighter(sparcos) too and have them fitted with leather but alas it was more cost effective and less engineering to just retrim my seats.
