Daveb99 66
That’s good to hear. What was the total cost of the new parts?
PeterSweden 60
No idea. Warranty fix.
SteveJL 2
@Daveb99 they cost me £36 inc vat, my cars out of warranty so I had to pay for mine but that’s ok as the fix works.
Alan H 44
Such a simple fix makes a massive difference to the general feeling when sitting in the car.
PeterSweden 60
Update 300 miles later. Seat still rock solid. Car still feels like a completely different car.
R1chr1ch 3
Im told by the dealership the car has to be returned to Lotus for up to 4 weeks so that Recaro can rectify the issue. Problem is.. mine is a daily use car so will Lotus provide a courtesy car?? Mm.. 🤔

DrTroy 6
Fixed/fitted mine at the weekend, although left felt slightly robbed (£50 inc shipping) for two wavy bits of metal.... Worked though ! 1
ArthouseCompany 75
Would cost me 65 euros with shipping for 2 pieces of metal 🙄 Anyone knows exact thickness and length of it ?😉 Edited June 8, 2018 by ArthouseCompany
PeterSweden 60
Best mod ever done to any Lotus Worth more than a 460 kit -;)
550superfast 447
I had mine fitted yesterday - all seems well at the moment. 1 Quote https://www.youtube.com/user/400superamerica
Crouchy 123
Just to add to the list, I had these metal strips fitted today. They have made the seat rock solid but the slight downside is that the seat is now stiffer to slide back and forth. Happy to put up with that for a solid seat though.
chumaxa 97
I do not have a problem with my seat but would rather do it .. Do you need to get the seat out to do it ??
alias23 1,519
I ordered mine today from @Seriouslylotus who had stock and didn’t rob me! A lot cheaper option than what my local dealer tried to charge me and what I dare say a few owners have paid on this thread. 1 Quote www.alias23.com
550superfast 447
Mine were £42 delivered. Didn’t know Dave stocked else would have ordered from him. Quote https://www.youtube.com/user/400superamerica
