Today a day off yay! So off to drop year end books to the accountants on the way back to Plumb Base to pick up a new Siphon for out faulty en suite toilet. Right honey, I will have some lunch and swap

Pffff. That's what I'd call a normal DIY job in my house, except I'd need a set of step ladders and an ambulance added to the parts list.

John next time it’s a sledge hammer and Barry’s tractor. Wife cooking dinner I am drinking wine. Give me cables any day I have asked for some patience for Christmas

You should have gone to the multi fit tool. Bloody big hammer.

P.S. Did you still cook dinner or did the wine win.

Got everything on the list apart from the Vito.

British Fart to Florida, Nude to New York, Dunce to Denmark, Numpty to Newfoundland.  And Shitfaced Silly Sod to Sweden.

Hmm. I just happened to change my toilet yesterday, and I used:

- 1 toilet brought to the door by the company who sold it to me, including a small upgrade from White plastic flush button, to a crome ditto.

- 1 hobbyknife

- bit of cement to seal between toilet and floor

- 1 plastic brick cut to small pieces to support toilet.

- 1 rag.

- a bit of LIP floor tile cleaner on a sponge.

- 1 unbraco key.

- 1 philips screwdriver.

all in all I used 45 minutes taking it nice and easy, but then again, it's not a close couple toilet siphon. Just a toilet. I swapped over the soft close seat.

Cheers,

Jacques.

Nobody does it better - than Lotus ;)
