alias23 981 Report post Posted December 20, 2017 These nitrons have been for sale for many many months... and still not budged. Any reason why?https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOTUS-EXIGE-S-V6-NTR-RACE-3-WAY-46MM-SUSPENSION-KIT/253280913084?hash=item3af8b806bc:g:JY4AAOSwa~BYRtMJ
Bibs 8,102 4 Vehicles Report post Posted December 20, 2017 I'd imagine that's an advert for the supply of a set from some stock rather than one individual set so the ad keeps running as long as they keep selling them.
mik 273 Report post Posted December 20, 2017 I bought a rear wheel from the same seller. Quick and painless and happy to ship it direct to Murray's- where my car was stranded.
Bravo73 846 Report post Posted December 20, 2017 The seller is uklotuscentre. FWIW, he has been on my ‘avoid list’ for as long as I’ve owned a Lotus.

Arun_D 672 Report post Posted December 20, 2017 The photos of taken of the dampers on the floor are 2-way dampers. Wrong angle on the reservoirs, so can't see the Lotus Motorsport logo, but they look like the Cup set. Explains if they're ex dealership stock, anyway. Arun_D 672 Report post Posted December 20, 2017 I thought they had a reputation with regards to their vehicle sales in particular.

chumaxa 44 Report post Posted December 20, 2017 (edited) Of course picture n2 is not the same set as the rest, I would say it is because of the seller as mentioned, but otherwise, I think that is the same set as the one I have got on the car now, not the same price, but still much cheaper than most websites ... And the advert info > Lotus Elise Side Repeater, R/H A138M4002F, I guess you could use them as you wish after all .. Edit: oh and if someone go for them, they do not fit on the standard bracket, sorry I do not know the english word, different shock head size. Edit again: kits for the 3 ways are 3500/3600 on nitron website or seriouslylotus, 2 ways from komotec, 4000 euros, as I understood you just have to machine the head of it to make it 3 ways. Bravo73 846 Report post Posted December 20, 2017 2 hours ago, mik said: Out of interest- why? (If you are willing to share) My actual reasoning might be slightly lost in the mists of time but I suspect it was because the seller seems to buy lots of items in the various Motorsports fire sales then relist them for considerably more. There might also be a connection to TVRGlen (although I might be imagining that one). Either way, this seller seems like it could be another route for uncategorised, crash damaged cars to make it back into the market. Whatever the reasoning, the seller is still on my ‘avoid list’. The posts above have only confirmed my view.
Sharky 25 1 Vehicles Report post Posted December 21, 2017 (edited) They are a Vehicle Dismantler focussed on Lotus. Plenty history on S-E-L-O-C to search for. But as long as you remember you're buying from a scrappy and set your expectations accordingly you should be ok. (edited as there must be an unhelpful filter on the forum name.)
