Bravo73
Aha. Another week, another Evora variant. Just what the model range needs...! £85.9k (basic) vs £104.5k for the GT430 Sport.

Snoopy1969
I have to admit that it takes me reading the Lotus article first before realising that ist a new Version, I overread 410, my eyes read "430" instead .... According to the data of Lotus it is lighter than the GT 430 and a little bit heavier than the GT 430 Sport / reality :all the same, more or less Would be interesting to know how many of the 410 Sport have been build / sold - guess that they are more or less rare (even by Lotus numbers), one week ago the (in my eyes) awesome White unique "007-Evora sport 410 has been still for sale in italy! Popular Post mark248am
we have a whatsapp group where me and my friends joke around about how lotus releases cars so quickly. one guy had ordered a 380 cup and by the time he received it the 430 cup was announced. so its a running joke in the group, like a meme. anyway today one of the guys picked up the 410 evora and by the time he got home Lotus announced the GT version. Too funny. 2

Not according to their current website: (Apologies for the poor screenshot but it was the only way that I could get all 5 Evora variants in at the same time). GT430, GT430 Sport, GT410 Sport, Sport 410 and 400. Why have a 410 Sport AND a Sport 410? The names across the range are confusing (especially the use of the word ‘Sport’) and there is considerable (too much?) overlap between the different variants. Three max would make more sense: road, track, sooper dooper.
Bibs
The press release refers to the 'outgoing Sport 410' so I'm sure that'll be off the website soon... Quote Cumulatively this all works to boost downforce to 96 kg at 190 mph, a sizable jump of 50% over the outgoing Evora Sport 410, and a massive three-times that of the Evora 400 with an improved drag coefficient. I'm struggling to see much of a difference between the 2, so am I correct in thinking it is therefore 19K for 20 BHP and a different badge. This makes the 410 Sport an attractive proposition (in my mind) Quote Blessed with the competence to be a slave to the incapable. Currently without a Lotus, Evora 400 Hethel Edition in Racing Green with Red leather and 2010 Evora N/A in Laser Blue and 1983 Lotus Excel LC Narrow body in Ice Blue all sadly gone. AK70
Cool stuff! With all the options (2+0/2+2) wheels, touring pack, race pack.. I think, now I could configure a version to my needs. (if there where an online configurator....) but anyway. I like! Not sure about the GT430 Sport though.. Who should buy that now? 1 Quote For the few who know the difference

MrP_
As much as I get the frustration of new models coming out for current owners, why does this cause so much of an issue when new models are announced? Lotus are adding another option which as far as I can see gives you the GT looks with the 410 everything else, and sits in the middle of the range price wise - that doesn't seem bonkers. It should help the 410 from stopping being the middle child so much, if you want cheap most only spend on 400 money, so lotus discount accordingly, if you want the top end you get a 430 - there was no compelling reason for a new owner to the marque to go into a 410 - making it look like the range topper will help drive sales of the 410. We have the holo model in the 430, but most new to the brand will buy the GT410 I'd imagine with the rest of the sales picked up by the 400 Frustrating if you just bought a 410 I know, but it's the same for all other brands there is always a newer shinier one just about to be launched, it's not just a lotus thing. It's just Lotus owners aren't really used to having this much choice. 2 Quote instagram.com/mycarsetc

Chris J
Brings the improved front and rear styling onto the rest of the range which was inevitable and imo a good thing, presumably the 400 will be facelifted next. Rationalizes the naming slightly as well. For those expressing outrage think of it as a mid-life cycle refresh rather than a new model

DJW
I can’t keep up lol. Got to feel for the dealers who have existing 410s on their forecourt. PH shows 10 new cars out there I’m all for Lotus winning more business but admit I would never buy a new car at the rate new versions are being released, When did people get their first 410s ? 18 months ago based on car reviews in March 2016 ? Also got to drop the extra cost items for aircon and stereo. What other £80k car expects you to pay for these as options. Remove as no cost option, but need to be standard spec. Christ you get these as standard on cars at quarter the price. Anyway stunning looking car and another option for going back to an Evora, albeit a 6 month old model. Guest
Seems that Lotus wants to produce 5-10 cars per type. A sort of Pagani Zonda's epigon. At this point why don't offer a full configuration? For example: for me exige V6 with front of 430, ass from the 350, engine from 380 and wing from cup. With full customization the customers will no more hate the brand after 10 minutes of delivery of the brand new very last last model
