What is required to fit a passenger footrest.  I’ve got an S3 Elise and assume the S2 footrest will fit. I have carpets and full length mats.

How does the footrest fit, to the floor and central tunnel? Thanks.

Cant confirm if the S3 & S2 are the same as I've not actually measured them, However looking at the DeRoure parts list for the S2 Elise and V6 Exige the parts numbers for the footrest are the same.

The floor mat on the passenger side is not full length and the footrest is fixed to the floor with sticky back Velcro on both the floor and the footrest, there is also a small foam packer to wedge between the tunnel and the footrest edge, I presume to stop another rattle.

Hope this helps,

Andy

I know Velcro doesn't sound secure enough but you will be surprised how ell it does.
