In the workshop or in the showroom Alan? There will still be a few bubbles visible but apparently they can take up to around 4 weeks to disappear completely.......and not to be touched until they’ve gone. The join on the edge of the front clam is my favourite part and very impressive how it’s done.👏 I thought it was a shed 😆😆😆 You know what I never stepped back and looked at the car as a whole as was looking at little details. Certainly jealous of your wing. Then got distracted by the Exige Cup 430. It was in the workshop getting your Under seal treatment put on. I am using the same installer as Stephen. When I requested info on PPF he sent an email about the potential down side so you can make an informed choice which I thought was good. For me a dark colour with potential white base coat makes it a must.
stephenwhyte 2,011
Ha - yeah the 430 Cup is nice......will be even nicer once they put a colour on top of that base coat finish!!!😉
chumaxa 97
The edge does collect polish residue as well, then people think you have a naughty white scratch ..

Popular Post stephenwhyte 2,011
Not really had a chance George - too busy enjoying the car and stressing all day - I’m bloody exhausted one way and another! Thought buying a new car would be fun.......maybe next week it will be😄 Very happy with it.....but keeping it under 4000 rpm ain’t easy that much I do know! Need to get some miles on it so I can properly enjoy. Anyway here’s a shot of it in the sun - not the best photo I know but I can confirm, the Fire Red paint looks amazing in the sun 🌞😎 I
RoflOnMyWaffle 326
Odd, you must have parked in the wrong driveway. Mines the gravel one, I'll wait for you to drop it off yeah? Not a fan of gloss red, but your paint is lovely! Enjoy bud! 1
CocoPops 878
Interestingly, the running in had changed... the manual doesn’t mention 4k limits any more and only 600miles not the 1000 it used to be. Interesting it says that short bursts above 4K will even be beneficial. 1 Quote On Order: 2021 Lotus Elise Cup 250 FE in Isotope Green, Red Alcantara Interior, Carbon Aero Kit, AirCon, Carpets & Mats, NVH pack, Cruise Control, Stereo, Red Calipers. Bravo73 1,407
Is that the manual for a V6? Or the 4-pot?
CocoPops 878
It’s the manual that is shared for Elise AND Exige. Also of interest, is the warranty Status... ”Lotus models are designed as road going sports cars. It is recognised that some owners with to use their cars occasionally on closed circuits or private test tracks in order to experience the cars full range of dynamic capabilities, and indeed the specification of some models has been optimised for such activities. Lotus is pleased to maintain vehicle warranty coverage for reasonable Non-Competitive use in this manner.” Their bold text, but certainly makes things a lot clearer than it used to be. Popular Post Mark030358 616
Had a 380 love in today too.... Nice one Stephen!! Interesting moment this afternoon, popped down to Oakmere fancying a test drive of the 430 Exige. It was parked upon next to a 430 Evora and TBH the Exige didn't float my boat, just wasn't special enough, while the Evora on the other hand did.... very strange for me. Anyway, came home and took a photo... 2
