If its moving the glass up there can't be much wrong with the motor since its having to lift the full weight of the glass and having to cope with pushing the glass into the frame. I would suspect its probably more likely the switch is faulty or possibly a relay which I believe the later cars have. Try swaping the switches over and see what happens, if its Ok with another switch you've found the problem !
