Whitey 31 Report post Posted January 28, 2018 I have the front under tray off trying to locate a squeak / creak when the car goes over bumps. When I refit the tray, there are various spacers that fit between tray and chassis points. I sussed which thickness goes where, but is it best to stick these to the tray or to the chassis to aid fitment - otherwise they will all get dislodged and bad language will follow! Looks like last time the tray was off they stuck them to the tray, but the way the top surface of the spacer is formed, it needs to locate exactly over the chassis mount points, so I would have thought it would be best to stick them on the chassis and not the tray - and what to use to stick them with - silicone? Thanks
Colin P 354 Report post Posted January 28, 2018 IIRC I just used a bit of double sided tape to hold them long enough to get the bolts in. Once they are in it they can’t go anywhere.
